With the classroom set of headphones, my students will have the ability to listen to complex texts while they read along in their books. Due to the varying abilities present, being able to listen builds fluency skills along with exposure to new words thus expanding their worlds! During independent station work, my students will have the ability to work without disturbing their neighbors! With each student on various levels with reading and comprehension, it can sometimes be intimidating when you are not comfortable with the material. What a wonderful source of freedom this beautiful gift will surely provide for them.
