My students and I love station time in my classroom. I want my students to be able to have flexible seating during this time. Some may like to sit on a stool or a cushion while others may just sit on the floor with a lap desk. Not all students like to learn in the same way. Flexible seating will allow students to decide for themselves. I want my students to decide on their own how they would like to work. As a teacher, I want students to gain more independence. Making some of their own decisions will help me succeed in achieving this goal.
