Our classroom is in need of a new classroom carpet. Many of our read alouds, classroom discussions, and stations take place on the carpet. This carpet helps teach the students personal space and boundaries since every student will have a spot that they can sit on. The pillows will be used in our classroom library by the students to get comfortable while practicing their reading. What we love the most about the pillows is that the students could take them anywhere in the classroom to make their reading experience more comfortable. Who doesn't love being comfortable while curling up with a good book? The calming soft seats will be used instead of chairs at our discussion table. Students will be using these as they discuss books in their literature circles and work collaboratively together.
