My classroom is a basic room. My classroom theme this upcoming school year is “1st grade where learning is an ADVENTURE. I want my classroom to be inviting & fun. I want positive messages through out my room. The rug I found will be a reminder to my students that anything is possible as long as you BELIEVE! A rug will give me many opportunities to teach. I can have whole group instruction and partner work on it & it will add some color & positive messages to my classroom. I can also use it for classroom management....having children sit on certain stars based on their ability levels.
