Students in my class are asked to create classroom projects, independent study and research reports regularly. It would be extremely helpful for my students to have access to a printer/copier and laminator so that they are able to easily create visual aids, print out research information as well as typed versions of their reports. Due to COVID 19 we are being told students can not share any materials. If these materials were laminated we could successfully clean materials and thus share them. This will save time and also paper as an alternative to making multiple individual copies. It will also allow students to be able to manipulate materials that would usually be group work, and safely build on ideas of others without fear of cross contamination or transmission of germs.
