Studies show that students who have the opportunity and ability to choose their own seating, based on personal preference, allows them to work at their full potential. With this ability of choice, student are able to motivate themselves and take more ownership of their learning environment thus leading to a healthier and more productive classroom climate. My classroom will be designed to meet the diverse needs of all my students. Many of the options students will have will promote and develop skill sets(independence, collaboration, and community) that will benefit them through out the rest of their academic and professional careers.

About my class
