Currently, my students have been working with older Ozobots that have been over used and are on their last leg. This has made teaching programming and coding a bit difficult because often times some of the Ozobots don't follow the code or just don't work. With the new classroom kit I am excited to give my students the introduction to robotics and coding that they deserve. They deserve to feel the instant satisfaction that Ozobot will give them once they successfully run their first program! Ozobots are a great way to begin my robotics course. They can start off easy and then allow you to get as advanced as you'd like. These new Ozobots also have new features that will give my students the opportunity to expand their knowledge in this field. In today's world, technology is growing and ever-changing. Robotics gives my students a chance to test the waters for potential future endeavors and for giving them the background knowledge on how things work in our digital world.
