Our goal is to make the micor:bit programming as easy, fun and rigorous for our students at Cary. All of our students want to participate in the programming of this digital micro:bit in class but because the micro:bit is so delicate and has to be handled with much care (students try to handle with care) participation is very limited by all students many times. The micro:bit is one of the most effective learning tool for digital skills and creativity for our students today for creating real world projects. Unfortunately, since some students have to sit without a digital device because it is broken or sharing the device with multiple students that learning and creativity is hindered. The microbit cases will provide the opportunity for a much more durable microbit which will give all students the opportunity to participate in the digital world to create real world projects without any downtime. As the student progress, they will be able work independent work as well as team activities too.
