My students need this carpet so they will have a comfortable place to meet. We meet as a whole group several times throughout the day for morning meeting, story time, math wrap up, etc. My students also use the carpet as a preferred space for math learning stations, and well as for daily five. Having this carpet will provide students with a comfortable place for socialization,instruction, and exploration. In addition to this, the design of this carpet will give each student a place of their own so they will know and be better able to respect the boundaries of others.
