The materials I am requesting for my classroom already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. The wobble chairs will be used for our small group table. The wobble chairs will be a tremendous help for students to sustain their attention during the lesson. There are countless times where I have had to stop the lesson to redirect students who are falling out of their chair. My diverse group of students "NEED" the movement that the wobble chairs provide. The flex-seating comfy seats will be used around the room during our workplaces. Students often like to work on the floor, but they are lacking the back support to sustain comfort. These seats are light-weight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom. By donating to our project, you will help a diverse group of learners improve their attention and increase student achievement. Students will be able to focus on their academic learning while having an outlet to allow their bodies to move. When students have a choice it allows them to find comfort in the classroom. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. When students have a choice and are comfortable in their learning environment it results in increased motivation, productivity and achievement.
