The stem bins supplies such as play dough, blocks, and magna-tiles with help me to create a hands-on, engaging learning experice for my second grade students. They missed so many of these opportunities especially the hands-on learning due to COVID-19. Students spend majority of their days on chromebooks and digital platforms. I am hoping these supplies will allow the students to put the focus back into their hands-on learning. This will be ideal for early finishers, centers, and helping students practice fine motor skills that they are lacking in. I have noticed huge growth in my students academics when they are able to not only enjoy what they are learning but are able to be tactile as well.
