My hope is that students will enjoy the Scholastic News resources I believe the exposure they will receive in using these materials will widen their interests and pique their curiosity. There will not only be the opportunity to read and discuss the periodicals, we will also be incorporating a few community projects as well. An annual subscription to Scholastic News and Storyworks will offer students opportunities to learn about their world. Additionally, it will open discussion with family and friends, helping students, and their families gain a sense of belonging in our community. I can't wait to get started! I am excited for the new opportunities these resources will provide. My hope is that my students will gain lifelong understanding through the use of Storyworks and Scholastic News.
