Having various books in my classroom will continue to enhance the print-rich environment that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students enjoy during independent reading and workshop. They frequently ask to check out books and recommend books for other students. Every book that is placed in my library is treated with genuine love and care because they are thankful for the opportunities to read. Each book has been chosen with my students in mind because I have built relationships with them over the past few months. My goal is for students to continue to enjoy independent reading time and challenge themselves in the process. The headphones will be used for audiobooks and to support students in their reading journey. I believe that these materials will enhance comprehension and motivation.
