I am trying to get 5 Wobble Stools for my classroom. Many of my students need to have the opportunity to wiggle throughout the day. This may be while I am teaching or while they are working. To meet the demands that we put on these children, it is necessary for them to be able to move around. I introduced a small bit of flexible seating last year, and I would like to implement it more this year because I saw the benefits of it. The students were more engaged in lessons and they worked better if they were given the opportunity to move and wiggle throughout the day. The wobble stools will help greatly with this! Another requirement in 3rd grade is to memorize their multiplication facts. Hopefully, seeing the multiplication facts rug every day will help with this. Students can also learn division facts and simplification of fractions with this rug. WOW!
