These Engineering and Design sets will give my younger students a chance to design and build fun sets that have a real world connection to them. By using the Playground set students will begin to understand how something they use everyday connects to engineering. Students can work cooperatively to problem solve and build different structures. They will use both the instructional cards that come with the sets but also their own creativity to build the sets. All the sets can also be combined which gives students more opportunity to design, combine, and build. I want students to be excited about engineering and I believe these Engineering and Design sets will create that excitement.
