I am a speech-language pathologist. My students and I have been working really hard on understanding how to make inferences. We have completed worksheets, read examples and acted them out. This will give my students one resource to use to work on learning to make inferences. These cards and pens will let the kids read the short passage and then use the pen to choose the correct answer. The pen can then let the student know if they are correct or not. Hopefully it will excite and motivate some of my students to try even harder. They can even use these by themselves without me standing over them because it will tell them if their answer is correct or not. What appeals the most to me is that there are additional materials that go with the pens if the kids really respond well to them. I love something that has multiple levels and tasks that it can be used with!
