My students are an energetic group of five and six-year-olds who love learning! They attend an inner-city school in a very large district that does not have the resources to supply with them the learning tools they need to stay engaged and relevant. The students come from a diverse background and it is very evident in their background knowledge they have at the beginning of the year. Some come ready to learn, while others have never been in a classroom setting before and are starting at the very beginning. Creating a fun and safe learning environment is what they need to succeed!
