The 4th graders in my class come from diverse backgrounds, and my goal is to develop a community of collaborative learners who embrace differences, take accountability for their own learning, and overcome challenges with a growth mindset. My students enjoy hands on projects that are differentiated to support their interests, learning styles, and progress towards their goals. A flexible learning environment supports collaboration, a sense of community and differentiated learning styles.
