I want to use these dictionaries and books to help my students expand their vocabulary in the language they are learning: Spanish. Reading books they might already know (Dr. Suess books) can help them concentrate on the vocabulary. Also during our writing block most students already know what they want to write but do not know how to say that word in Spanish. My students would be able to have their own copy of the dictionary to look up words on their own instead of having to wait on me to tell them. Building vocabulary in their second language can help them be more fluent bilinguals.
