Many of my students come from low income households and do not have the books at home to read. With this new reading bench and carpet, my students will be able to read books of their choice for their enjoyment. They will be able to escape into the world of reading in this quiet comfortable area. It will help foster their love of reading and help them grow as readers. Having a quiet comfortable spot for them to read throughout the day will encourage learning. They will be able to pick books at their level and interest to read independently without the classroom disruptions.

About my class
