Coming back to school after a year and a third of distance learning, my students/parents are worried as to how they are going to catch up from all that they lost in distance. Not only do they have this concern but they have to worry if the air they are breathing is safe from COVID-19 and the smoke from the wildfires. Getting air purifiers into the classroom to make sure that the students will have the cleanest air possible as we begin a new school year, is of vital importance. I have seen the first hand affects of how not feeling comfortable or safe negatively effects a student's learning and chances of being successful. By feeling comfortable and safe the students will be able to put all of their focus and energy into their work, which gives them the best chance of being successful, and reaching their individual goals!
