We have a brand-new reading program this year, and part of the program requires anchor charts for students to see and copy in their notebooks. I have limited board space and am not allowed to hang items from my walls. Currently, charts are crammed on the available board space. I am just starting out with the program so I will be running out of space quickly. By having an easel, I can hang anchor charts for students to reference and can flip back to when necessary. I currently have the read-aloud books on the floor and if they are in bins, the students will have easy access to them. I can keep all supplies for read-aloud easily accessible to the students in the easel.
