Having my own classroom set of iPads will give my students the ability to work independently during centers. I already know exactly how I will use them. There are many programs available that help enrich reading in the classroom. Technology has always been hard to achieve in my classroom. This is why I feel like this would be a very important asset to have in my first-grade classroom. This will increase their ability to be in charge of their own learning and reading. They will be about to use language and reading programs that will help them achieve a higher reading level. Having this in the classroom will help give my students more of an opportunity to interact and increase their reading fluency and comprehension. I am excited about this possible opportunity to have more technology in my classroom to increase choice and independence.
