Using grade 2 NVACS Health 2)1.4 Explain when to get adult help for emotions that can not be handled alone along with NVACS Social Studies SS.2.16. Explain how diverse individuals have played important roles in developing the nation's civic identity, including but not limited to: deliberative discussion, equality, freedom, liberty, and respect for individual rights, I can help my 2nd grade students feel connected to their peers and community in our virtual classroom. We will use the books for read aloud to prompt discussion about our feelings, how to handle them, and how to relate to people that are different than our own family. Using grade 2 NVACS mathematics SMP #4 Model with mathematics, I can demonstrate how to use math tools properly in our virtual class.
