The request of this Apple Mac Book will help make the students educational playing field even and rich. I attended a Microsoft Innovative Educator Training this past summer and was amazed to learn of the new and exciting technology tools I can use in my classroom with proper equipment. My students will be inspired to become global citizens through transformative learning with Skype in the classroom. Students will be able to connect virtually with other students from around the world. Since this is a History classroom, this is an incredible opportunity for students to explore new countries, continents and cultures. These materials will emphasize our geography lessons because students will have to ask Yes or No questions to the virtual students through Skype such as " Are you in the United States? Are you east of the Mississippi?"
