This project will help a first year teacher become established for students. As a first year teacher it is hard starting up a classroom from scratch and I could use all the help I can get to provide my students with everything they need such as simple supplies like pencils, markers, crayons, glue and scissors. My hope for this project is to build a foundation of those simple supplies to aid and enrich my students in their learning. Something as simple as a donation of pencils jump starts a students day of learning. If they don't have a pencil, they can't write their math equations or even write their name on their paper.
