This large rug would be used daily to host our whole group during morning meetings and everything in between. I want this focal point of our classroom to be clean and welcoming. Our school is a Leader in Me School and the tree is a symbol of our community. This rug has leaves to tie into our symbols. The rug time is where we build our community as a class. It’s where we read together and independently. It’s where we practice math games and partner work. The large carpet will be placed in the middle of our room for our learning.
