Learning centers in a Math classroom allow students to take a more active role in their academics. Studies shows that centers provide several benefits such as: increase student motivation, fostering independence, improve time management, and challenge advanced students. With the card stock paper and laminating machine, I will be able to create fun and education task cards for the students to explore. I will be to use the task cards for all 4 classes without any damage to them because of the laminating machine. The reusable pockets will allow me to walk around the class and see the students work quickly. By inserting a class-set document int he pockets, I will be able to save on paper.
