As a 5th Grade Teacher, my job is to get my students excited about learning through real life connections that apply to their everyday lives. Many times the students will see visuals on our boards, but how awesome would it be to have our students bring in their own real world photos! They will have the power at their fingertips to find science, social studies, math and reading in the world around them that go past our TEKS . I would love to provide them with digital cameras that will provide them ways to explore their surroundings and relate it back to the classroom for their peers. Our students' work will be on display to showcase their expertise and newly acquired skills.

About my class
