The students in the preschool classroom are a vivacious group of young learners who are always eager to absorb new ideas about the world around them. It is my amazing fortune to bring big pieces of new knowledge to these curious developing minds. In preschool, everything is undertaken with great gusto, from building towering masterpieces with blocks, to comparing the wide color palette we find on autumn leaves. It is a joy to watch the eager little faces of the preschoolers, wide-eyed and accepting, take in new ideas and concepts. Our preschool program is designed for three and four-year olds on all points of the spectrum of early learning. Bringing these students as many hands-on experiences as possible is invaluable in fostering their developing language skills. Some students in our classroom have been identified with communication needs, and benefit from experiential learning about the world around them.
