By having flexible seating in the classroom students are free to make a choice of which seating arrangement is best for their learning. By giving them a choice I am helping them begin to learn how to make appropriate choices to make them more successful in the classroom. This gives them the opportunity to be an advocate for their learning and to take ownership in how they learn. By having alternative seating students have their own space to spread out and have room to work. It will help with engagement which in return will make better readers. By donating you will help the learning environment of our classroom by giving my students more choice. By giving the more choice it will help empower them to make better choices and become more successful in the classroom. Having choices helps them become 21 Century learners.
