The students are ready for distance learning, but, in order to meet all student needs, I will need to boost my equipment and tech tools. I am looking to purchase equipment that would help facilitate my online teaching by presenting learning videos and presenting lessons on a whiteboard. From my experience with distance learning last year, I know the students get really motivated by teacher-created video content. They also respond well to lessons they can clearly see such as on a whiteboard. The combination of live overhead video, teacher made video content, and a standing whiteboard can easily recreate what we would do in the classroom. These items will help optimize my teaching and encourage my students’ engagement and learning as we begin the year in distance mode.
