Since my students are inpatients in a psychiatric hospital, they haven't been outdoors in days, weeks, or months. Having iPads allow them to "travel" the world virtually, to "see" the outside, and to engage more in our classroom. The students will use the iPads to participate in virtual lessons where they can experience the learning hands-on. Additionally, the iPads will be used to help differentiate instruction for the students on various learning levels, especially for math. Give these children the opportunity to go beyond the walls of the hospital, to experience the world, and to learn in more effective and engaging ways!
