For the past 19 years I have enjoyed co-teaching 1st and 2nd graders in a Multi-Age classroom. Starting in August I am taking the plunge and changing grade levels and will be teaching 5th grade. I am extremely excited for this new adventure and opportunity! I have always wanted to incorporate the Flipped Classroom approach, utilizing online tutorials and videos for my students to access at home. I am hoping that instead of traditional homework, my students will be able to watch short videos online to prepare them for the lesson being taught the next day in class. However, because I teach in a low socio-economical community I know that some of my students will not be able to access these assignments. Therefore, I will need a small amount of chrome books for the students to use to at school.
