The Next Generation Science Standards are all about giving students hands on experience with science. We want our students to see real data, understand relationships and experience phenomena. My students are incredibly passionate learners but the resources in our low income school doesn't always allow them to experience hands on science. Experiments often require equipment, supplies and materials that we do not have. Help my students experience real science, the way they might in a lab! We will use these dynamics carts and photogate timers to explore the incredible world of physics, including some of the phenomena they experience every day! These materials will allow students to gather and analyze real data, practice their graphing skills and integrate mathematics into science.
