My students have missed less school days because of the items that have been donated. The students have used the cleaning wipes to keep the germs away. Also, they have used the hand sanitizer to keep the germs at bay. Furthermore, those students who have caught a cold or two have appreciated the softer tissues that have been donated, alas the school tissues are a bit harsher on the nose.\r\n\r\nThe students that have done well in class have them names up on the wall with the colored paper and construction paper that was donated. During parent meetings, they have shown their parents their names and students even have asked if they could take pictures of their names with their phones so that they could show their parents. It has been a source of pride for those students and you can almost see their self confidence growing because of this.\r\n\r\nTeaching is a very difficult profession and anything that can be done to make it a little easier is very much appreciated.
