The folders will help communicate between school and home. Some parents struggle to feel as though they can be part of the school system due to language barriers and other factors. I will use the communication folders to help keep parents in the loop. I have several books that I am requesting that will help support curriculum and provide reading opportunities in the classroom. Many of the students in my school do not have books at home. Providing them with opportunities to read in my room will help them flourish. I have also requested crayons, scissors, and construction paper. I try to incorporate fun and fresh ways to learn. These are items that we can always use.
