Our classroom needs this classroom carpet so that while students are seated on the floor for whole group instruction, each will have his or her own space. By having his or her own space, each student will learn about personal space while respecting their peers' personal space. Students having a colorful rug to sit on during whole group instruction will help them during whole class instruction. When students have their own space on the rug, they will be able to focus better and pay attention. My ultimate goal is to help my students to be as successful as they can be.
