The comfy floor seats and rug that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. These flexible seating options will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out. They can also be used as an alternative chair if needed! The comfy floor seats will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options.
I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
Flexible seating gives students the power of choice and allows them to control their environment. This type of seating allows students to analyze their own needs and pick where to work and with whom. Flexible seating also helps their physical health which has been proven to be linked to higher academic performance. I have also seen flexible seating help make students more responsible for their learning and more committed to learn! The advantages of flexible seating are endless! I cannot wait for my students to be truly engaged in their learning through flexible seating.
If funded, my students will engage with these seats on a daily basis and we will see their academic performance improve as well. The requested materials will be an amazing contribution to our classroom and its environment and my students and I will be beyond grateful for it as well.
