The students will feel like they have their own moving work space. It provides choice in where students can work independently or collaboratively with peers. These lap trays would be used throughout the day. When students work with the teacher on the carpet work can be more professional and authentic. Students might choose during independent time to work on the floor rather than a sitting desk. Small groups can meet throughout the room rather than just at desks. Lap trays provide more options, yet still allows for productive and quality project work. Students will love using them daily and feel like little professionals!
