Wobble stools empower students as they feel they have more control over their learning environment. It allows them to move as needed and remain focused and productive. Due to their flexible nature, students can use them if needed or choose other available seating options. The requested wobble stools will allow those students who cannot sit still in regular desks to move without causing distractions in the class while taking charge of their own learning. These seating options promote slight movements and adjustments for the students and reduce the negative effects of prolonged sitting. With the requested wobble stools, students can become "active sitters" in our classroom. In addition to these seating options, I am personally funding flexible seating options such as floor seats, rockers, and stability balls. In addition, I have also added standing desks that have really helped students! My belief is that it takes a team to meet the needs of our diverse learners. By working together, teachers, parents, and the community can come together to make classrooms 21st-century learning environments. Thank you for your support.
