With this project, I am hoping to acquire an iPad 32GB. The iPad will create a more effective working environment for those students who lack the technological resources they need in today's classroom. At this moment in our nation's history, classroom teachers are racing to acquire technology that will meet the needs of their students. Yet even with my students bringing their own technology from home, there are still some children who simply do not have a computer available to them. I want to make sure that all of my learners have the same access to the technology they need. I also know that many of the computers brought from home are outdated or too slow. My goal is to get my students reliable, kid-friendly, technology they are familiar with so they will be able to complete my lessons on the latest speech apps as well as their assignments on Math Reflex and i-Ready math and reading during our assigned classroom interventions. Giving more students access to technology will not only help to increase their scores through the use of the programs we use, but it will also maximize their learning potential.
