My second graders love using technology! Unfortunately, it isn't always an option at home or currently at school. In today's global society, it is imperative that I provide my students with a variety of opportunities to interact with technology, become fluent in computer skills, and keep up with the ever-changing world of tech. My students currently use Chromebooks for listening to reading, math fluency, research, and Google Classroom--but only intermittently when computers are available to us. With the addition of five Chromebooks to our classroom, my students will have the opportunity to use them during Daily 5 Literacy and guided math rotations. This small addition to our classroom resources will open the world to my students every single day in both reading and mathematics.
