This project includes new speakers and an iPad, which will help engage students. The iPad will be used as a tool for students to Skype with experts from around the world and create an open-walled environment for learning. In order to have a successful Skype session, my students need to be able to hear the person from the back of the classroom! This year we incorporated these Skype sessions into class, but students had difficulty making out what the person was saying. On top of this, a throwable microphone will be purchased as well to elicit strong student questions and ideas. These students deserve a classroom environment which allows them to engage with technology and practice 21st century skills. With your help, we can make this happen!
