My goal is to create a classroom full of community, conversation and creativity. This easel will welcome students in the morning with a message, allow us to learn our letters and sounds, show off read aloud books, help us develop our number sense and many more learning opportunities. This easel has space for me to store all of the materials we will need for every subject we our working on. It will allow us to show what we know using the white board and hold chart paper to document our learning. The easel is at a height where it is accessible for all students to see, write and create. To help create a community feel in our classroom, most of our day is spent interacting, learning and growing from each other on the carpet. This easel is mobile to move around for students to see and use. With this easel, I will be able to create engaging and interactive lessons for my students to experience daily. These learning experiences will teach them the skills they need to succeed and the moments they will remember even after kindergarten.
