My students are middle school age, grades 6-8. My students come to me for math and English support! My students love to learn and enjoy any hands on activity that will help them gain conceptual understandings of math. My newcomers look forward to the constant communication we have in our classroom in both small group and large group that allows them to practice the English language daily. My classroom is limited in supplies. I've been an instructional coach for my district for 10 years outside of the classroom. I've depended on the materials and supplies of each teacher I have coach and supported. This year I have chosen to return to the classroom to help students directly and put my tremendous learnings of my coaching to use! Unfortunately, I am coming with a bare classroom, I hope to build up and make my classroom amazing so my middle school aged students can benefit!
