When you gather your students up for circle time, a carpet in the destination spot can serve as a great anchor. Students won’t question where to sit or spread out very far because the rug becomes the destination and the edges of the rug serve as a defined space. We spend lots of time time on the floor working together so this rug will be located in our main meeting placed and used numerous time throughout the day. Our new carpet will be a space where all students have a comfy place to sit while we're learning and working together.
