First, students have to be well to be engaged. To provide an environment conducive for learning, we must first clean and prepare their work stations. Decorating a classroom is the fun part of preparing for the school year. Cleaning the desks, mopping the floors and wiping the boards are the beginning. My students need very Disinfecting Wipes, Disinfectant Spray, specific Hand Sanitizer, and other cleaning supplies to keep their work space clean, tidy and ready for the next student. It is my plan to have the classroom sanitized and ready for work. The learning and teaching begins the very first day. I will demonstrate how to sanitize workstations before and after each use. I will explain how things should be found and how they should be left after use. Teaching expectations and procedures are a very important part of daily life skills. Students will be taught the importance of sanitation and clean work spaces.
