My little learners often have a difficult time learning to share space. Many of them come to me directly from a home environment where they were the only child or the baby of the family. A classroom rug would help them by giving them a comfortable and defined space to sit while participating in whole group learning. Currently we use duct tape to define an area on the carpet. A classroom rug with individual defined seats would make whole group learning more enjoyable and productive for everyone. It would also make the classroom more inviting and liven up the space.
