My classroom is considered a second home to many of my students. I am lucky to teach English Language Learners in grades 6-8 in Chicopee, Massachusetts. My students come from many diverse cultures and they face unique challenges in our public education system. Most of my students and their families are new to the United States and have very limited English proficiency. The cultural diversity in our school is what makes our classrooms so vibrant and unique.
